He begins by developing a clear picture of each client's full financial life to map retirement, cash-flow, and investment goals, then creates and monitors a plan designed to pursue them. Through the firm's tax affiliate, Roadmap Tax, tax strategy is integrated from the start rather than treated as a year-end afterthought.
Before entering financial services, Jacob served as a special operations medic with Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) at the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion. That experience instilled a focus on mission execution, leadership, and performance under pressure, along with an instinct to care for the people counting on him. He also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Roadmap Tax.
Jacob lives in San Diego, California, with his family.
